Nuclear Licenses & Certification
Equans follows a strict safety policy and holds all necessary licenses and certifications.
- ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification, along with a license to carry out ADR7 transport operations.
- 10CFR50 Appendix B specific to the nuclear plants of ENGIE Electrabel.
- Authorized to work in restricted zones in France (SPE-E-0400) and Germany (KTA 1401).
- Own Class II facility in Villers-le-Bouillet for the storage and treatment of radioactive materials according to strictly controlled, applicable regulations.
- ASME III and X (nuclear welding), ASME XI (repair & replace).
Nuclear safety training
Our subsidiariy ECS is a provider of integrated safety solutions for the nuclear and conventional industries & your training provider for various safety training courses. ECS was selected by ENGIE Electrabel to provide the Nuclear Safety Culture training to all employees required to enter the Doel or Tihange sites.
