An ambitious project, the new Chirec Delta Hospital is a colossus dedicated to health. Located on one of the most important crossroads in Brussels, it has an area of 100,000 m² and is divided into eight levels. At the forefront of modernity, this hospital centre offers the latest technologies in medicine. EQUANS has been entrusted with various missions as part of the construction of this new hospital centre.

Priority on energy efficiency
EQUANS carried out the electrical technical installations. All the systems have been duplicated so that no malfunction jeopardizes the hospital’s operation. They are controlled by a large data centre for complete control, especially of energy. The technical facilities have been chosen by our experts with priority given to energy efficiency: condensing boilers, thermal solar panels for sanitary hot water, heat pumps, rainwater recovery, LED lighting, high efficiency cooling systems, free chilling units, air handling units.

With the Chirec Delta Hospital, EQUANS is once again proving its know-how in healthcare institutions. Everything has been designed to offer maximum comfort to patients and staff. Our teams are still present today for maintenance of the hospital complex. The 12-year maintenance contract covers operation with a full guarantee of the various technical areas covered.
